on my way to new york, i was reading this english mag, with my little obsession on the cover-the kinks. i had tickets to the show in chicago and upon arrival, ray davies was standing at the elevator, staying in the same hotel in new york as i, so i got him to sign my mag. pretty cool! he's very tall and chill.

i have no idea why i did not just get a photo of him. i got too nervous, i guess.

i met ray waiting for an elevator at the W hotel in midtown manhattan. he signed my copy of mojo i happened to be holding. i had tickets to see him the following week. he was very nice & quite tall.
