Dead man 'wouldn't pay for sex'
But was he wearing plaid?
Cairo - Egyptian police have arrested a man for allegedly chopping up a German drama teacher and dumping his body parts in a suitcase because he refused to pay for gay sex, said a judicial source on Thursday.Mustapha Maher, who works for a pharmaceutical company, allegedly confessed to killing the unnamed teacher after a suitcase containing the remains was found on a rocky plateau overlooking the Egyptian capital, said the source.
Police were able to identify the victim and the alleged perpetrator because the dead man, who taught at a German school in Cairo, had been packed into the case along with his cellphone.
Maher was arrested on December 27 shortly after the bloody baggage was found and allegedly said he committed the crime because the German refused to pay the agreed sum for sex.
He allegedly said he sliced up the body and dumped it on the desert plateau in the hope it would not be found. The suspect will remain in police custody while a thorough investigation continues on the murder.
