Is this evidence that the Global Warming thing is fizzling?

More evidence that Al Gore’s Live Earth flop was indeed the beginning of the end to the public’s fascination with global warming: Leonardo DiCaprio’s recently released film on the subject has bombed with moviegoers.

As reported by Fox News’s Roger Friedman Wednesday (emphasis added throughout):

His environmental documentary, “The 11th Hour,” has been a total bust at the box office. After 18 days in release, the film has grossed only $417,913 from ticket sales.

As Friedman pointed out, these are horrible numbers.

gmony714, I like this story. It's good stuff.

I expect it will available at Blockbusters and Netflix pretty quick.

gmony714, the question is why...is it simply over exposure and fatigue to the same message over and over again or is the public questioning the urgency of the issue which is purported to be one of immediate and grave concern...?

I think people do not like to be talked down to by stars who's Global Footprint is 1,000 times larger than theirs.
