Death toll in Iraqi parliament bombing hits 8

The blast that hit the Iraqi parliament cafteria has resulted in at least eight deaths. The blast was from a suicide bomber who blew up himself in the U.S.protected Green Zone, where the cafeteria is located.

The bombing came hours after a suicide truck bomb exploded the al-Sarafiya bridge, killing at least 10 people.

Though uncertain who it was, al-Qaida has been blamed for the parliament blast which also wounded 10 people.
