Palu, Central Sulawesi (ANTARA News) - The death toll in the Morowali floods and landslides has continued to rise and now stands at 71 while the number of missing persons is 17, according to the latest data collected by local authorities.
The joint search and rescue team found four bodies under the landslides` mud at Ueruru and Tarongo villages, on Sunday (Aug. 5), a team member said here on Monday.
Of the total of 71 fatalities, 42 were recorded at Ueruru village, 14 at Boba village, 7 at Taronggo village, 4 at Kolo Atas village, and respectively two at Tambarobone and Lemo villages.
