Denver, Colorado Inaugurates New Pedestrian Bridge

Mayor John Hickenlooper inaugurated the new Highland Bridge in Denver, Colorado on December 16, 2006. The pedestrian bridge spans Interstate-25 and connects the Denver neighborhoods of Highlands and Lower Downtown. About 500 people attended the opening ceremony which was emceed by Denver City Councilwoman Judy H. Montero, who helped spearhead the project.
