Today this building is a shell, burnt down during the 1973 riots, which destroyed the wooden floors (but not the tile floor in the kitchen in the back right). This architect for this building was a prisoner, George Hamilton, who showed some real talent in designing it. He was pardoned by the Governor but told he had to leave Idaho. He so much did not want to leave Idaho that he committed suicide (a morphine overdose) when the train he was on reached Nampa, Idaho.
