The word "undocumented" is a euphemism for "illegal immigrant". What has surprised me, is how frequently this euphemism is used by the mainstream media. It's almost as if they are afraid to say "illegal immigrant". From now on, try counting how often you read, or hear, "undocumented" used in relation to illegal immigration. Another euphemism is "crosser" -- Meaning someone who has crossed the border illegally.
