WE may all be skint after Christmas, but that doesn't stop the New Year being the busiest time to book a holiday abroad.

Katy Moss, who is the manager at York Travel Group in Rushden said: 'We've already had lots of interest so far this month.

'People often put booking a holiday on hold until after Christmas and then when it's over start planning their trip away.'

But a report out this week has claimed that it is cheaper to book your holiday online - yourself.
