I'm not sure what the real-world effect of such a site will be, but it certainly cannot hurt. When I lived in NYC, I loathed the sight of double-parked cop cars.

Some particularly egalitarian New Yorkers are fed up with special people abusing their special privileges. Specifically, Transportation Alternatives has launched a new website that will post civilian-snapped photos of illegally parked government-issued cars or cars with NYPD placards. With your help, they hope to bring status-symbol abusers to justice.

By the way, DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT PARKING HERE is a real sign; I saw it up Madison Avenue a few years ago.
