Life in a village without modern conveniences is beyond difficult. Dr. Barrie and Dan conducted a national needs assessment in every amputee community in Sierra Leone. Every community needs food security, education and healthcare. Almost 90% of these communities need clean water supply. Most want micro credit opportunities, a resource center, wheelchairs, and prosthetics that will last.
