"Dreamgirls" snubbed for Oscars best film nomination

Even though the musical drama "Dreamgirls" got eight Oscar nominations, the fact that it wasn't nominated for the best picture and best director categories now makes the race wide open for Hollywood's biggest night.  Babel received seven nominations, followed by the Spanish-language film "Pan's Labyrinth" and "The Queen."
