TruemorsMurillo's St John of God. I love this painting. Finished in 1672, this painting depicts one of the miracles of St JoG. One night, SJoG gave shelter to a poor man, carrying him on his shoulder to the monastery. So heavy was the man, that SJoG sank to his knees, at which point Archangel Raphael miraculously appeared and helped him to stand.
