Duke Lacrosse Rape Charges Dropped

District Attorney Mike Nifong says he dropped charges of first degree rape against the former Duke players because there simply was not enough evidence.

"A person is guilty of rape in the first degree if the person engages in vaginal intercourse," according to North Carolina statute14-27.2.
