Canadian born and raised in Vancouver. Currently working in public markets in M&A. I was once a political speech writer and consultant.

My politics are complicated. I am an athiest, libertarian environmentalist. I believe in a very limited role for government (think Jefferson, Regan, Thatcher, Goldwater - NOT BUSH), absolute separation of church and state and that we all individually must take better care of our home (Earth).

I am old enough to have seen what harm governments do even when well meaning and I am young enough that I have not given up trying to change things.
