Eco-vandals attack Hummer

I see that the eco-fascists are at it again, this time nearly destroying a young man's Hummer.

My friend Marge's son has a Hummer and if anybody attacks it I think they would take their life in their hand. Very sad that it is coming to this, but I blame Al Gore and Michael Moore for much of the problems that we face here in America.

When Gareth Groves brought home his new Hummer SUV, he knew his eco-friendly neighbors disapproved. But he didn't expect this. His Hummer only lasted five days.

On Monday, two masked men were seen taking a bat to every window, knifing each tire and scratching a message into the body - "For The Environ."

Groves lives in an upscale Northwest D.C. neighborhood with his mother.

He says some people who have driven by and seen the Hummer since the attack glare at him in satisfaction.

Neighbors admit they don't like gas-guzzling Hummers.

But they aren't condoning the vandalism.

Police say they haven't seen vandalism so severe with a clear political message in recent years. Investigators say they don't have many leads.
