Eight-year-old dies after toboggan slams into tree - Globe and Mail

CP St-Michel-des-Saints, Que. -- An eight-year-old Quebec girl is dead as a result of a tobogganing accident while she was playing with friends. The girl was riding the sled with two friends yesterday afternoon when they ran into a tree in this community just north of Montreal. Provincial police said the others were able to jump off before the toboggan hit the tree.
