Bomb scare shuts Victoria Bridge, Quebec

The Victoria Bridge is closed in both directions because of a bomb scare. The Sûreté du Québec bomb squad is investigating what appears to be a suitcase on the Montreal end of span, above des Moulins St.The bridge has been closed since 3 p.m., and Montreal police are diverting traffic away from Bridge St., the entry point from downtown. According to SQ Sgt. Michel Brunet, a man exited his car around 3 p.m. declaring their was a bomb in his suitcase. The man is currently in police custody.
