Demi Moore can’t get work

The Superficial, a widely-read celebrity gossip blog, has revealed that a mountain of plastic surgery hasn’t landed Demi Moore any choice roles. According to the post, “Demi Moore has spent an estimated $450K on cosmetic surgery to defy the ravages of time.” Speaking in an interview with The Sun Newspaper, Mrs. Ashton Kutcher was extremely frustrated about the lack of roles for women her age. “It's been a challenging few years, being the age I am. Almost to the point where I felt like, well, they don't know what to do with me. I am not 20. Not 30. There aren't that many good roles for women over 40.”

Speaking about the roles that she had been offered recently, Moore replied that “a lot of them don't have much substance, other than being someone's mother or wife.” Towards the end of the post, The Superficial revealed the extent of Demi’s nip/tuck activities. “As well as breast implants, collagen injections and liposuction on her hips, thighs and stomach, she had a £5,000 (roughly $10K U.S. dollars) procedure to lift the sagging skin on her knees.” The female star has been limited to appearances in the films “Bobby” and “Half Light,” both of which were box-office disappointments. However, the post also notes that Demi has two new films scheduled to be released this fall.

Heath Ledger gets desperate

Celebrity gossip blog Socialite Life is reporting some amusing news about the recently single Health Ledger. In a post titled “Heath Ledger tries to block David Blaine’s… You know,” Lisa Timmons wrote that Heath could definitely use some help while he attempts to get back into the dating game after his recent split with long-time girlfriend Michelle Williams.

The post began with a relatively vicious put-down over Ledger’s choice of attire, “I'm guessing that Heath is relying mostly on his charm, if this outfit he's wearing is any indication of what he thinks "dressing up" looks like.” Ledger was clad in a Kevin Federline-ish fedora hat and a bright orange t-shirt under a brown blazer. Ouch.

Apparently, Ledger had been keeping his eye on magician David Blaine’s date for the entire evening. “When Blaine turned around to do some kind of coin trick , Heath made his move. Heath reportedly got a hold of the 6-foot-blonde's phone number right before saying, “I know a lot of people here in the city, so we could have some fun.” The post is sure to mention, however, that “later on, the woman claimed not to have any idea who the actor was and denied any hints that she'd given him her number.”

Why Kid Rock fought Tommy Lee

Top celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton is reporting that VMA celebrity boxing champion Kid Rock made an appearance on a San Diego radio station this morning to clear the air over his recent fistfight with Tommy Lee. He was quick to insist that the fight had nothing to do with Pamela Anderson, the ex-wife of both men. Kid was adamant that “it had zero to do with her.”

According to Perez, Kid Rock was adamant that he hates award shows in the first place, “Like, you know I go to those things because I have my album coming out October 9th you know… Other than that I don’t want to go sit through Britney Spears lip-syncing and some kid dancing and lip-synching. I don’t want any part of it.”

According to Kid Rock, Tommy Lee had been taunting him for years and accusing him of being a “bitch.” Kid Rock stated “well there’s a lot of history there, obviously. It’s just a lot of mouth talking, a lot being extremely disrespectful for a long time… It’s been going on for 5 years.” Kid claims that he hasn’t seen Tommy in quite a while before their Sunday night brawl. “Last contact I had with this loser, was when me and Pam were going through our divorce he picks up her email and starts emailing me how much of a bitch I am, and this, that and the other”

Courtney Love is a drug pusher

Sharon Osborne has levelled a shocking accusation at the walking-pharmacy many people call Courtney Love. TMZ, a top celebrity gossip blog, revealed the scandalous details in a post this morning. According to TMZ, Sharon was speaking to the British newspaper The Daily Mirror when the subject of Courtney came up. According to the post Osborne stated “I will never have time for Courtney Love. She was the first person to give my son Jack the prescription drug OxyContin.”

Both of the Osborne offspring have been admitted to re-hab in recent years, but the news certainly comes as shock that Courtney Love, a mother herself, would give addictive painkillers to a 15 year-old boy. The post from TMZ goes on to note that Love may have been the reason why Osborne wound up in re-hab in the first place “in 2003, Jack was admitted to a hospital for Oxy addiction, but has been drug-free ever since.”

Love’s lawyers, apparently, would not return calls from TMZ.
