From bad to worse for Britney

Top celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton has reported the latest developments in the ongoing Britney Spears/Kevin Federline divorce saga. Despite the fact that “the court documents are sealed and confidential for the protection of all parties involved and the children,” Perez’ post quotes a source close to Team Federline stating that they are “extremely grateful for the results of the court proceedings.” Federline is represented by high-priced LA lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan.

According to an additional post, Fox news is now reporting that Federline has been granted temporary custody of both boys due to the written testimony of Britney’s ex-bodyguard. The documents submitted to the judge apparently “accuses Brit of nudity and drug use in front of the kids and also questioned their safety in her care.”

Yesterday, major media and celebrity gossip blogs alike reported that Britney’s lawyers and manager both quit working for her.


Dave Grohl hates Paris Hilton

It appears as though the former Nirvana drummer has joined the extended line-up of people who have a serious hate on for Paris Hilton. According to a post in Hollyscoop, a widely-read celebrity gossip blog, Grohl expressed a serious distaste for anything Hilton-related. In an interview Dave simply stated, “Paris is f***ing lame” he continues, “"She's more offensive to me than anything.”

Even the author of the post was a bit sketched-out at how much Grohl seemed to despise Paris. “Wow, I wonder what Paris Hilton has done to him to deserve that!” There are no reports of the two ever dating and reportedly, they had only met each other once.

When provoked, it was hard to stop Dave continuing to dump on Paris, “She's a total, raging, disgusting, rich, lazy party slut. I pray that my daughter will not turn out like her.” Dave was speaking to British tabloid The Sun who stated in their article that “one mention of the name Paris Hilton sends the Foo Fighters frontman utterly ballistic.” According to The Sun, “Dave and Paris fell out in spectacular style after meeting in a restaurant years ago, when Dave claims that the pampered heiress put on ‘the full princess attitude with the nose in the air.”

Lyndsay “will never do drugs again”

A visit from her father reportedly brought Lyndsay Lohan to tears as he showed up at her current re-hab facility recently. The Superficial, a popular celebrity gossip blog, had several quotes from Michael Lohan describing Lyndsay’s condition and her day-to-day re-hab routine. According to the post, as soon as her father showed up, Lyndsay burst into tears and began telling her father how much she has learned about herself in the past… two weeks, or so. Lindsay said, “Daddy, I have done some terrible things and been addicted to drugs but please believe me I will never do drugs again.”

Lyndsay is said to be doing better than ever and her father reports that she has been working on a new album and taking care of some of the re-hab clinics’ horses. According to Michael Lohan these are “things which Lindsay has not done for a long time because she has been wasted on drugs. I have seriously not seen her this happy in years.”

Michael Lohan seemed pleased that his daughter seems to have turned the corner and he went out of his way to mention that he and Lyndsay are both very concerned for crazy ol’ Britney Spears. Lohan drew parallels between Brit and his daughter. “You only have to look at the poor state Britney Spears is in to know living in Hollywood is not good for these young girls. Lindsay and I both pray Britney can turn her life around too.”

Chloe Sevigny in rehab fashion shoot

Actress Chloe Sevigny has opened up some re-hab related controversy by checking herself into a British rehabilitation center and then invited photographers from Harpers Bazaar to do a fashion shoot with her at the facility. According to celebrity gossip blog Hollywood Backwash, Sevigny has always been a fan of hallucinogenic drugs, but claims that she has never done “hard” drugs. Nobody has checked themselves into re-hab for acid since 1977, but apparently somebody forgot to tell Chloe.

When asked about her drug problem, she was quoted as saying “I had a great family life - I would never want it to look as if it reflected on them. I think I was very bored."

Hollywood Backwash actually found the shoot to be a bit troubling. They stated “there are two schools of thought on these controversial pictures of Chloe Sevigny in Harpers Bazaar. One opinion is that rehab has become to acceptable and that the media has a responsibility to not make it look cool. The other, which we are fans of, is that this is a just a commentary on our sad, crumbling society.”
