Ryan Seacrest was good last night --

Yes, it was a bad five minutes for all of us. Watching Ryan Seacrest open the Emmys is even worse than watching him ask Jack Nicholson what kind of underwear he is wearing on the red carpet - and we didn't think that was possible.

although not according to everyone --but it still didn't help the ratings for the show. Last night's Emmy's pulled in as the second worst telecast in Emmy history.
