In the UK, they take Doctor Who very, very seriously. The stripey-scarfed master of time and space has been reincarnated for the 21st Century, featuring the awesome Christopher Eccleston and the remarkable David Tennant (whose Touchstone in the RSC's As You Like It is still the best I've ever seen). As with Harry Potter, some churches are getting in on the act...
A CARDIFF priest loves Dr Who so much he is preaching to his congregation through the Time Lord.
St Paul’s Church, in Grangetown, Cardiff, was used as a location for an episode of the first series of Doctor Who starring the ninth Doctor played by Christopher Eccleston.
And parish priest, Father Ben Andrews, 32, says he loves the cult TV show so much he thought a themed evening would go down well with the youngsters.
A church used for an episode of Doctor Who will reportedly be running a special service based around the hit BBC family drama.
The "cafe-style" service for people in their teens and early 20s, will feature music and clips from the hit show.
One of the organisers Fr Dean Atkins, said as a saver of the world, Doctor Who was "almost a Messiah figure".

jordan, this is awesome. I'm still like two seasons behind in this show, but if Hayzeus is behind it then count me in for two more!
