A popular website www.iefilmi.com (India-EU Film Initiative), based in London, is soon going to be launched as a business-to-business portal, said its director Pervaiz Alam in London on Thursday, 6 December, 2007. "We are pleased to announce that our site is becoming a great source of information on Indian and European film circuits, leading us to expand the scope of our existing site," said Alam who is a former BBC journalist and broadcaster. The date of launch for the new film portal will be announced in a week's time, he added. Meanwhile, coverage of important film events will continue on www.iefilmi.com, confirmed Alam.

I posted this news because it's a great news! We definitely need a serious effort to link the two networks of India and Europe. There are all predictions that the Indian film industry will grow at a high rate, leaving a number of developed countries such as the US and UK behind.
