Jackson 5 gig to ring in New Year's?

Rumours of a reunion have been growing for a few months and now it has been reported that the band will play Atlanta later this month.

According to producer Jermaine Dupri, the band will play greatest hits set at his Studio 72 club to mark Dupri's engagement to Janet Jackson.

Dupri has suggested that Michael and his four brothers will be flown into Atlanta by helicopter for the event.

He told Atlanta radio station V-103 “It’s the Jackson 5 party. I swear to you it’s going to be the biggest party this town has ever seen.”

Jackson brother Jermaine recently admitted, “We feel we have to do it one more time. We owe that to the fans and to the public.”
