Katie Holmes saunters in heels after marathon run

New York (ANTARA News) - Actress Katie Holmes, the wife of Tom Cruise,
ran the New York marathon in under six hours Sunday. Then she kept
going in high heels to the premiere screening of her husband's new
anti-war film Lions for Lambs.



The movie, directed by Robert Redford and also starring Meryl Streep,
connects the war in Afghanistan to a political drama in Washington.



Holmes and Cruise, who reportedly invited top ranking members of their
Scientology organization to the exclusive event, did not stay for the
post-screening party after her exhausting day.



'The Batman Begins' star ran most of the marathon in disguise and was
only revealed when Cruise, carrying their baby Suri in his arms,
demanded a kiss from his roadside viewing spot in Central Park.



"I'm good, but I'm feeling very tired," the 28-year-old star was quoteed by DPA as telling People magazine. (*) END
