I spent much of this "golden week" in Beijing checking out some of the
music festivals that have suddenly been swarming the scene here.
Tuesday night was Beijing's version of the Yue Festival, which featured
Talib Kweli,
Ozomatli and
Faithless. Beijing's two dates were just a warm-up to the main event a few days later in Shanghai.
