Colour me unsurprised and unimpressed. The woman has taken barely being able to act, sing or do comedy to new levels. Oh and now apparently she's gay.

Are wedding bells about to toll for Big Babe Queen Latifah and her long-time companion and personal trainer Jeanette Jenkins? Rumor has it that royal fence sitter Queen Latifah popped the question to her purported lady love—and by question, I don’t mean, “Honey where’d we hide the dildos when the fam was here for Thanksgiving?”

A nasty little buzz that began on the gossip blog, MediaTakeOut.com, asserts that the Queen not only asked juicy Jeanette to say “I do,” but that Queen’s planning to announce her Queerness to the world!

Who cares? Everyone is gay or lesbian these days. .... I am just really sad that Queen Latifah is gay. I just do not feel comfortable about using her sponsored brands - Covergirl "is the Gay Girl" lip stick - Walmart is the gay store and of course Jenny Craig will be full of gay people in there class so I have just had to close my eyes to anything she promotes just because she is no longer a women "A She-man does not relate to me at all" and I would let my husband recommend a lipstick. I know this may seem mean but I am just saying after all these years of being straight - To just become another Ellen. I'm Not A Man so I will never use or buy anything that a man recommends.

I saw your post on the insider where you say pretty much the same thing. I agree it is really sad that Queen is gay. But to not buy her is stuff is a bit far. In that case you might as well make or create your own neccessities because for one she is not the only gay that sells anything, second I willing to say 95% of all products/service is providing by sinners,gays/lesbo/bi or other abominable sinners. So what do you do when you have to buy food,gas and etc. All I am saying is I agree with you 1000% about queen being gay it is not sad but ashame to have someone of her caliber being a lesbian. You know what you closed minded people. All because someone is gay it does not mean that their blood doesnt pump like yours, or that she is not a human being. I find it sad that all because she is gay you are not going to buy her products ANYMORE. Queen, has gained the respect of so many people. In a choice that she has made she will lose the respect of so many people. People fight, kick, and scream to get to a place of respect and influence, but when they get the influence and respect they seem to lose the care of the foundation that got them their. That foundation is the trust of people. The people that supported them, invested their money, used them as role models. Why didn't the Queen come out at first? Interesting point. I am not homophobic, and I'm gay myself, so I understand why she waited. But you are right that is the reason. You have to make it first and then after you have enough money you can come out. If you come out at first, you never make it very far.

For some reason I always sensed that Queen Latifah was gay but you know what? I love her as a person and no matter what people say I'm behind her all the way. I'm a lesbian stud and it really doesn't make a difference if your pretty and gay. People get a confused look on their face all the time when I tell them that Im a full lesbian not half! -Not saying their's something wrong with bisexuals- but I know what I want and how I want it. Who cares what the media says. If Latifah was straight they'd have a whole talk on her boyfriend or husband so whats the difference if she comes out being a lesbian? There's nothing wrong with it.
