RAAF F-111 wows crowds in Southern NSW
The Royal Australia Air Force (RAAF) recently flew an F-111 over the crowds at the Temora Aviation Museum in Southern NSW.
The pilot performed several handling displays with out actually landing due to recent rainfall. The aircraft then returned to base at RAAF Amberley in Qld.
The amazing displays ended in the aircraft’s famous ‘dump and burn’ manoeuvre, where jet fuel is released behind the aircraft and ignited by the massive twin engine afterburners. It disappeared into the cloud above, leaving an amazing red glow - to the cheers of the Australian taxpayers below!
LATE BREAKING NEWS: the pilot has contacted me and advised that he made a slight error during the Saturday display... can you spot it in the video??....
