Ukulele Ray, famed pop-artist and musician, has joined classic-rock cover band, The Chavelles, as lead-singer.

Specializing in classic-rock music from the 1950s thru 80s, The Chavelles have been active since 1964, originating from California's Central Valley. Now, operating from Phoenix, AZ, The Chavelles will be adding ukulele to some of its repertoire, as well as Ukulele Ray's voice and stage experience to bring a fresh new feel to their music.

"I'm thrilled to be part of such a great band," Ukulele Ray said. "From our first meeting, to working in the studio together, we have an amazing appreciation for each others talents, and have formed a great team."

"It's a real pleasure to play with Ray," said Dennis Garcia, one of the original Chavelles' from 1964."We appreciate his becoming a part of our music and look forward to a great future together."

From Ricky Nelson to The Rolling Stones, and from Steppenwolf to The Eagles, The Chavelles continue to entertain audiences with classic tunes, from the past, for over 40 years.
