To honor the recent passing of famed pop-artist and singer, Ukulele Ray's mother, he combined his sadness and song-writing skills into an anthem to her memory.
"I want to dedicate this song to my Mom, and to ALL mothers, who love, guide and inspire us," Ukulele Ray said. "It's a testament to how she taught me to be me!"
Entitled, 'My Mom - A Hero Always Be,' will be performed live by Ukulele Ray at his Mom's memorial.
"It's difficult to perform under such emotion, but my Mom wouldn't have it any other way," Ray said. "I find my strength and comfort in the words, as my Mom is the music."
Ukulele Ray is the famed inventor of the Lunchbox-A-Lele (a cross between ukulele and lunchbox), and is the lead singer of legendary classic rock band, The Chavelles.
