Flooding in Pacific, Washington as the White River surged over its banks on the evening of January 8, 2009. Major arterials were hip-deep; dozens of homes, apartments, and businesses were flooded. Community sandbagging teams worked from City Hall, while the Boy Scouts hosted an emergency warming facility at the Senior Center.
