An earthquake measuring 4.6 hit Seattle and surrounding areas today, with some people feeling it in Canada.

The epicentre was 20 miles northwest of Seattle.

There are no reports of damages or injuries but people were woken up by the shaking and it was reported to have lasted about 10 to 15 seconds in length.
