At Least 18 Buildings Collapse in New Turkey Earthquake
An earthquake measuring 5.7 in magnitude struck Turkey on November 8, 2011 at 9:23pm local time. At least 18 buildings, including two hotels, have collapsed.
At least three people have been killed in the earthquake, and at least 50 are trapped in one of the collapsed hotels.
Those trapped in the rubble include journalists and rescue workers.
The epicenter of the earthquake was in Van. Just two weeks ago, 600 people were killed in a massive 7.1-magnitude quake in the same region.
