Amtrak Delays: Amtrak Boston To New York Train Service Suspended

Temporary Suspension Amtrak Train Service Between Boston And New York | Acela Express, Northeast Regional Trains Suspended

Amtrak has announced that it is temporarily suspended train service between Boston And New York City because of damaged overhead wires near Sharon, MA.

An Amtrak delay advisory was posted on the Amtrak website at 11:23 am EST

In addition, Amtrak Springfield Shuttle service between Springfield, MA, and New Haven, CT, is also cancelled for the remainder of today, with no alternate transportation being provided.

"Crews are working to make repairs as soon as possible; however no estimate for restoration of service is available at this time.

Service between New York and Washington is not impacted at this time.
