I followed the treatment of the animals already a couple of years by visiting the park and through internal info from vets and staff. The park is owed by the Conde of Torroella de Montgri: Alfons de Robert. Fortunately the park shall be closed on order of Medi Ambient, a department of the Government of Catalunya,

UPDATE: Finally, after years of more or less bad treatment of the animals: Sobrestany has been closed by the authorities and the owner has to take care that the animals are within a couple of weeks somewhere-else otherwise they will be sacrificed. A very bad situation and the innocent animals are the victim of this all again as everywhere! When I see some photos of Flickr-members in Catalunya the tears are coming in my eyes.
The publications were nation wide and by television. It concerns here more than 300 animals………..
