An earthquake struck near Tokyo Japan during the early hours of April 12 (local time). The quake measured 6.4 in magnitude, more powerful than the quakes that struck less than 24 hours earlier. Narita Airport Closed
The runways at Tokyo Narita Airport have been closed for maintenance checks following the quake, which was originally reported as measuring 6.3 in magnitude.
