Atlanta flooding has killed two people so far, and has forced Gwinnett County schools, as well as those in Douglas, Paulding and Caroll counties to close. Throughout the Atlanta metro area, roads are closed after rainfall of up to 15 inches over the weekend. For Atlanta school closings, check here.
For Atlanta traffic, check here for road closure info and alternate routes. Part of the Stone Mountain Freeway was blocked by a mudslide. Both reported deaths were vehicle-related.
In Douglas County, spokesman Wes Tallon said a man's body had been found downstream from where a car was swept into a creek on North Helton Road.
A flood watch is in effect for north and central Georgia.
