Australian Scientists: Antarctic Ice is Growing
Contrary to the conventional wisdom, ice thickness in eastern Antarctica is actually increasing.
This presents a more complex portrait of a continent, beyond just "melting" or "thickening". It would appear to be a bit of both, at least at the moment. When taken together, according to the Australian Antarctic Division, continental ice has remained more or less stable.
The results of ice-core drilling and sea ice monitoring indicate there is no large-scale melting of ice over most of Antarctica, although experts are concerned at ice losses on the continent's western coast.
Antarctica has 90 per cent of the Earth's ice and 80 per cent of its fresh water, The Australian reports.

Another fact in the inconvenient truth.

Goes to show we don't know everything yet.

That is interesting, however it does not talk about total volume of Ice.
If the thickness is increasing, that does not mean the mass is. Further what about the density of that ice?

there is an Ice Age beginning. no, seriously, study climate change, and not just the past 100 years which is a blink of an eye for earth.

The article does say: "Sea ice conditions have remained stable in Antarctica generally," Dr Allison said.
This sums up the overall condition: Stable
Let now your heart be troubled Paschen, the Polar Caps are not melting and global warming is not happening.
There are other REAL environmental issues that should be given attention. Global warming is a passing fad that some folk like Al Gore are going to make a bucket of money from.
Lets stop worrying about who's paying for carbon credits. Take the money out of the "warming" equation and see how long people like "Al Gore" remain interested in the cause. (No money = who cares)
Instead, lets look at new ways to grow our crops without pesticides. Pesticides are probably the leading cause of cancer. That's a good enough reason to invest in that. And lets invest more in all forms of cancer research too.
How about we invest in alternative energy solutions like solar power? Lets make that more efficient and cheaper to produce so that every household can have an affordable solar electricity unit installed.
Lets save some endangered species too. Lets invest in breeding programs to sustain and grow their numbers so that future generations can enjoy seeing those animals too.
If we really want to make a difference to our environment, let's not blow all our hard earned money on one hysterical fad like "Global Warming."
Global Warming: Bad science; bad for the global economy; bad for jobs; bad for future generations; bad for everyone now.
Don't live in fear, instead be informed.
