Bangladesh: several thousand of Irawaddy dolphins have been found in the Sundarbans delta, the largest mangrove forest in the world.

On the Irawaddy dolphin has been identified for over a century. It is a freshwater dolphin that lives in rivers especially in Southeast Asia, northern Australia and in New Guinea waters. Threatened by global warming and fishing nets, the whale whose appearance is very close to the beluga although its gene has many similarities to those of the killer whale is classified as a species threatened with extinction if the we refer to the list of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).

But the discovery made recently in the Sundarbans delta gives hope for the conservation of the species. Indeed, researchers have discovered about 6,000 specimens, most people never identified. However, much remains to be done. The protection of this population must be a priority for the Bangladeshi authorities. To this end, the Society for the Conservation of Wildlife calls for the establishment of a protected area in the estuary. But pending the implementation of this provision, the fishermen were aware about the damage that can result in their nets.

I'm a little confused, is it beluga whales or irawaddy dolphins they've discovered? You should update your headline to the proper info.
