Banks of Human greed by rakesh_74

Many Indian cities were established near the rivers. These rivers used to be subject of reverance in past and fullfilled the watery needs of the city..Now these rivers have become  the recipient of garbage and industrial waste generated by city. To add insult to already grave injury now unprecedented construction boom is threatening the very existence of the already thin and polluted river. This is also  happening with other traditional water resources like pond, lakes etc situated in or nearby urban areas. The results is worsening flood situation during the monsoon and drinking water scarcity  during summers in  various cities.

One can say it's not a new news...but My point is ..these issues needs to kept alive and this item is an endevere
I want to stop here and leave the future situation for your imagination and thinking.
Thanks for your attention.
This pic was taken in Indore situated in Central India.
