Bar-tailed Godwit with meal

This is from the other day, a nice Bar-tailed Godwit with a reward for burying its head in some highly dubious water.

Where this shot was taken is going to not exist in about 6 months time due to the expansion of the Port Botany docking facility, although there will be a new bird environment established nearby. Whether it ends up being any good is another question.
