This Earth Day, artists from National Geographic's new music record label held a free concert in Piazza del Popolo in Rome to mark the day, and the headliners were Ben Harper and Relentless7. Bibi Tanga & The Selenites also appeared, as well as Nneka and Subsonica.

The organizers are planting 1000 trees in a nearby park and an acre of trees in Costa Rica to offset the carbon emissions of the concert.

Thousands of people will convene on Rome's famous Piazza del Popolo for a free concert Nat Geo Music is hosting for Earth Day.
