As you've likely heard, a major solar eclipse was visible across much of the western U.S. on May 20, 2012. No doubt, plenty of amateur stargazers took photos and video of the annular solar eclipse.

One of the best 2012 solar eclipse videos out there was produced by Cory Poole.

Cory Poole made this video of the annular solar eclipse yesterday using 700 photographs from a telescope with "a very narrow bandpass allowing you to see the chromosphere and not the much brighter photosphere below it."
