The Beatles- Blackbird

The dawn chorus is a wonderful sound but maybe this blackbird's song would make even the greatest bird lover wish it would just shut up or learn a new song. We've had recent stories about how birds are singing louder to be heard over traffic and now this blackbird has discovered a sound intended just for that purpose and got it off to a tee. Nature strikes back.

A TORMENTED family have told how their peace is disturbed from 5am every day - by a blackbird which thinks it's an AMBULANCE.

Decorator Nathan Talbot, 39, and his wife Alison, 37, of Weston Super Mare, Somerset, are rudely awakened at the crack of dawn every morning by the sound of a loud emergency siren.

LotusFlower, I like this story. It's good stuff, I've added a pic that perhaps offers a drastic solution to this problem.

That's great Vinny - 4 and 20 blackbirds baked in a pie - might not be as drastic as you think as often the pie crust was placed over live birds that when the pie was cut would fly out over the guests..

Blackbirds do seem to be good at singing (or impersonating sounds)

Earlier this year, I had a blackbird near my garden which seemed to be singing part of "Lola's Theme" by the Shapeshifters :-)
