Callithrix flaviceps (Buffy headed-marmoset) is a rare and endemic species of course, restricted to a stretch of Atlantic forest in southeastern Brazil, in the south and east states of the Espírito Santo of Minas Gerais, being considered in danger of extinction in the country (List IUCN, CITES, the List Brazilian fauna threatened with extinction). The causes that threaten the species is the destruction of their habitat and the pattern of limited distribution.

Hello Martin,

Sorry for delay, you may no longer in Brazil! The Buffy-headed marmoset can be more easily observed in the private reserves RPPN, the east of Minas Gerais, due to the fact that species in the Espírito Santo to be restricted to a few protected areas where tourism is not allowed! if you need a guide please contact <douglasedrocha@hotmail.com>

Cordially
