Bridge flood 2499

Photo from the St John's Wood side (isolated) of the flooded Gresham St bridge looking towards Waterworks Rd and Ashgrove. At peak there was just under a metre of water over the road. Total passage across the bridge was halted for about 5 hours.

Watch the progression of the flood through the photos. Never have I seen this much water here.

In this week so far Brisbane has had an amount of rain comparable to the 1974 floods. Flash flooding across much of Brisbane and surrounding areas.
