O caminho de Itupava surgiu entre 1624 e 1654 e corta a mata atlântica da Serra do Mar Paranaense de Quatro-Barras a Morretes.
São aproximadamente 7 horas de caminhada entre trechos de mata refrescante e paisagens impressionantes.

The Itupava Colonial Trail was created between the years of 1624 and 1654 and cuts through the Atlantic Rainforest of the Paraná state mountain range of the sea from the Quatro-Barras city to Morretes city.
It is a total of 7 hours of walk between excerpts of refreshing forest and stunning views.

Hi,
I appreciate the iniciative of the Schwarzenegger governor, our forests need this support.
My photos were taken in the Itupava Colonial trail, here is a short information about this wonderful piece of nature:
The Itupava Colonial Trail was created between the years of 1624 and 1654 and cuts through the Atlantic Rainforest of the Paraná state mountain range of the sea from the Quatro-Barras city to Morretes city.
It is a total of 7 hours of walk between excerpts of refreshing forest and stunning views.

The whole mountain range of the sea of the Paraná state, including a large extension of Atlantic rainforest is protected and preserved, but only a few forests of the world have the privelege of being protected like this!
