California Earthquake Strikes on Heels of Indonesian Earthquake

A California Earthquake struck today just two days after a major Indonesian Earthquake hit another part of the world.

Inyo County in California felt the 5.1 magnitude earthquake at around 3am today, and according to the U.S Geological Survey, there have been aboue 30 tremours around the town of Keeler, whcih is 148 miles from Las Vegas and about 11 miles from Lone Pine.

There has been no reports of damage or injuries at this time.

Seismologists say that there have been earthquake swarms before in this area, especially around Mammoth Lakes and Salton Sea.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.

While most temblors in the quake swarm were tiny, there were several 3.5 aftershocks to the 5.1 main quake.
