The Camarillo Heights Fire Has Grown to 20 Acres Since Tuesday Afternoon
Some homes are close to the fire that is located about 50 miles northwest of Los Angeles but according to the Associated Press, no evacuations have been ordered at this time.
The fire has grown quickly in just a few short hours, fueled by dry fuel and the steep scenery, but there are about 150 firefighters on the scene trying to battle the blaze. There is also two helicopters and two more air tankers on their way according to KTLA News.
No evacuations have been ordered so trucks can get access to the twisty roads. Residents are being asked to shelter in place.
Smoke from the fire can be seen for miles around and residents are being asked to be ready in case they have to evacuate.
