Car Accident

Metro Detroit Area, Michigan on 12/1/2008 around 8:40pm. I got on 275 North (a 3 lane Highway, well 6 lanes if you count 275 South) and the roads seemed fine. EVERYONE was going 70-75 mph. I was in the left lane aka the "high speed lane," also doing around 70 mph. Almost 2 miles from work my car suddenly started to fishtail, so I turned the wheel the opposite way to counter steer it. Normally this corrects it, BUT being that I was on icy roads, it started to fishtail in the opposite direction. I tried to counter steer again, but then it fish tailed the opposite direction sliding the nose of the car around, which made it then turn 180 degrees and I was now FACING traffic as it slid over towards the steel guardrail. I, myself, was getting moved back towards the rear window. As the rear right side of the car struck the guardrail, my head smacked the glass of the rear window at the same time and it shattered all about me. The force of the impact then sent my car spinning across the three lanes of traffic to the "slow lane" where the right side of my car slammed into a concrete guardrail facing the "correct" direction again. [Had I hit the metal guardrail further up the way, instead of the concrete one, my car and I would have gone through it and fallen down a nice little drop].
